Nicole completed her bachelors and two masters degrees at the University of Alberta and has a diverse clinical background working with infants, children, adults and seniors. Nicole now focuses her practice in the pediatric sphere and sees patients ranging from the tiniest premies and newborns to children under 16 years of age.

Nicole has focused a large portion of her practice to becoming an expert in pediatric physical therapy and has obtained additional certification to specialize in pediatric pelvic health. She has a strong interest in treating infant feeding concerns and exploring the role that oral and body mobility play in breast and bottle feeding. Nicole loves working with families and collaborating with her patients to help them achieve their goals however large or small they may be. Nicole’s approach to treatment is hands on and she puts a large emphasis on education in her sessions. Her treatment approach is grounded in evidence based practices and includes play based therapeutic exercise and manual therapy. Nicole believes in collaborative goal setting and works with her patients and their care providers to help them to develop the tools they need to self manage their concerns and conditions over time.

While Nicole loves working with patients of all ages, her favorite populations to treat are at the far ends of the age spectrum - infants and seniors! She loves working with kids on gross motor skills and coordination and helping our aging population to maintain or regain their strength and mobility to get the most out of life.
